Our team

Highly experienced individual and couples therapy. We offer intensives, retreats, evaluations, and therapy.

Leana Sykes, M.Ed, LPC, ACS

I became a therapist because I believe that relationships, with others and with ourselves , are the most important work we will ever do. Twelve years later, that belief hasn't wavered. If anything, it has deepened.

I specialize exclusively in intensive therapeutic experiences, for couples who are struggling to find their way back to each other, for partners who want to build their marriage on a foundation that will actually hold, and for individuals who are ready to understand themselves more fully and step into a life that feels more authentically their own. This focused specialization is intentional. It means that when you work with me, you are working with a therapist who has devoted her entire practice to this kind of deep, immersive work.

My training reflects that same commitment to depth. I am a PACT-trained couples therapist, Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy, and trained in EFT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, two of the most rigorous and research-supported frameworks in couples work today. For individuals, I work at the intersection of IFS-informed Brainspotting and EMDR, a powerful combination that goes beyond insight and into the places where real, lasting change actually lives.

What I bring into the room alongside that training is genuine care. I work hard to create an environment that feels warm, safe, and unhurried, because I know that the quality of the work depends entirely on how held you feel while you are doing it. I stay closely attuned to everyone I work with, reading the room and honoring your pace so that what we move through together is always challenging in the way that growth requires, and never more than you can hold.

This work is a privilege. Every single time.

“Licensed therapist providing counseling services at Grounded Growth Counseling”

Mone't Kendall-Turner, LAC

Available Virtually

Hey there! I’m Monet Kendall-Turner, a Licensed Associate Counselor. If you’re feeling stuck, emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself, or unsure how to move forward, you’re not alone. Many people come to therapy already thoughtful and self-aware, yet something inside still feels unsettled. I believe that healing is something you already carry within you, just like your body naturally knows how to heal a cut. My role is to help you reconnect with that wisdom and trust yourself again.

With individuals, I help you gently explore the different parts of you with curiosity and compassion. There are no “bad” parts—only parts that learned how to protect you, cope, or survive. When those parts are understood instead of judged, real change begins to happen. This work is about building a kinder relationship with yourself and finding more balance, calm, and joy from the inside out.

With couples, I support partners in slowing things down and finding their way back to each other. Whether you’re feeling disconnected, misunderstood, or struggling to rebuild trust, our work focuses on creating safety, strengthening communication, and restoring emotional closeness. It’s not about blame or who is right. It’s about understanding what each of you needs to feel secure, seen, and supported.

Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, and empowering. You don’t have to try harder or be “better” to heal. You already have what you need inside of you. Together, we create space for clarity, compassion, and meaningful growth—so you can move forward feeling more grounded, whole, and hopeful.

Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.”
